Do you thrive in an exciting and fast-paced environment? Do socially developed consumer products get you excited? Are you ready to launch your operations career, learn a lot and have fun doing it? If so, then read on…

About Us:
We’re a consumer products company called Quirky. Now hold up… don’t go judgin’… our operations procedures aren’t quirky, but our process for getting the best ideas out into the world is.

One of our main quirks? We develop two brand new consumer products every week. The ideas for those products come from anyone in the world who has had “wouldn’t it be cool if…” type ideas for decades.

Position: Logistics and Inventory Coordinator

We are looking to hire a rockstar to join Quirky’s operations team to assist in all things logistics, i.e. the “who, what when, where, how” of getting product into the hands of our consumers and retail partners. A typical day might include organizing for product transportation around the country, coordinating with our warehouses in the US and abroad, managing inventory levels, and collecting the tears that fall out of Chuck Norris’ eyes when he sees you doing such a baller job.

Now you may have worked in ops roles in the past — but are you a brand-obsessed, action-oriented, no-bullsh*t-taker, ready to make the shift from your current job into irreverent ‘we’re gunna make invention accessible’ start-up culture?

If you like what you’ve read so far, then let’s get down to business….

Your main responsibilities pertain to assisting Quirky’s Operations staff in daily execution. This includes (but is not limited to):

Work closely with our team to know the what, when, where and how of inventory.
Update daily inventory and shipment reports.
Help coordinate product movement around the country.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all product movement.
Help manage warehouse relationships (both U.S. and overseas).
Prioritize and coordinate operations-related requests from other departments.
Manage calendar of retail deadlines.
Follow up on all wholesale compliance updates.
Pitch in wherever you are needed and be excited about it- we are a startup!
