I have a vision/dream/idea (call it the way you want) about something that is missing in the car enthusiast web space and I believe it has potential. I have already been working on a prototype and I need a co-founder to help me take it to the next level. There are thousands of people in this country that like to talk about cars, drive them, look at them and talk about them all over again. I am one of these people, I have an idea.

* About you

Since I am more of a backend type of person, I would need a front-end developer. A top-notch UI is needed, I was thinking about jQuery to properly interact with Ruby on Rails but I am open to everything else. You are passionate about creating super nice web experiences, you have already done that in past and you can show it. You like to write clean code to get clean looking pages and you are comfortable with the full-stack.

Ideally you call yourself a car enthusiast, this will help getting the full grasp / excitement of the project. If that's not the case but you believe you can adapt to anything, please contact me anyway!

* The "don't quit your day job" concept

That's a side project, at least for the first iteration. Once there is traction and everything is in place, it can become a full-time activity. Ideally I would like to be live in a couple months! I have always been excited about building software and there is enough time in the day to 1/ pay the rent 2/ have fun :)
